Abstract

In this paper, we want to introduce a novel mixed reality (MR) analysis tool that provides 3D reproductions of multiple actors using head-mounted AR devices in a cooperative setting. The tool is motivated by a challenge we are faced with when analysing AR support for cooperative scenarios: For this analysis, one needs information on people�s movements and behaviour as well as on their interaction with digital information and objects. As other means of analysis proved insufficient for these purposes, we created and applied a novel tool which shows wearers of Head Mounted Displays (HMD) devices, the digital objects they interacted with and the actual setting they were in. The tool features several features for the analysis of these settings, which were predominately based on requirements stemming from two cases studies. In this paper, we present the tool, its most prominent features, and its application in two cases. To our knowledge, there is no other tool that includes similar features and means for analysis available, and we would like to discuss
